Located in Fergus Falls, Matthew House is a faith-based transitional home for men overcoming addiction and/or have been to jail, prison, or treatment programs. By providing a safe, sober, and stable living environment, men can begin the hard work of forgiving themselves, leaving their pasts behind, and creating a new and hopeful future with the help of mentors, programs, and of course—Jesus Christ.

Not a Center, but a Home
For many of the men that come here, Matthew House is just one of the steps in their journey towards sober living through Christ. Whether they’ve been in and out of jail, prison, or treatment centers, men take comfort here because we are not a bootcamp, clinic, hospital, or center—we are a place to call home.
Matthew House provides mentors, support and encouragement.
Community in Christ
Through our ministry, we provide almost ten different mentors to work with those living here. Together, they join and help with Bible studies, meals, and give transportation to and from appointments and other activities. Our community of men and women through the ministry foster healthy relationships, accountability, and encouragement that stays with men long after they leave Matthew House for the next step in their journey.
